21st TS – 2nd Study Visit
We are glad to announce that the 2nd Study Visit of the project has successfully started on Monday October 10th, and is hosted by Symbiosis Law School in Pune, Maharashtra, India. The Study Visit includes both online and face-to-face meetings and aims to train more than 200 in-service teachers from across 3 states.
All project partners and university leaders from the partner organisations have been participating in the project meetings, and in the next 3 days they will be conducting training programmes and workshops to promote the concept of 21st Century Skills. The overall objective is to create an impact on the education system of the project’s Asian partner countries India, China, and Cambodia.
The Study Visit has been covered by press mentions in today’s newspapers and tv stations – some of which you may find here, here and here.

07 Oct M_Coach Transnational Meeting in Athens, Greece

The M_Coach Erasmus+ project enters its final phase and Symplexis hosted in Athens, Greece, the 2nd M_Coach Transnational Project Meeting! After a long and challenging period of online meetings, the “Change your mind, coach” partners met in person on October 4th 2022 and had an intensive day full of smiles, discussions, decisions and connecting.
The M_Coach project aims at developing a training course for trainers/coaches and their trainers, which will help them identify and tackle discriminatory behaviour in their teams, composing primarily of young athletes (16-21 years old).
The M_Coach e-learning platform has been launched and can be accessed directly at https://elearning.changeyourmindcoach.eu. The registration is free for all and the educational material (e-course & didactic manual) is published in all partners languages (English, Croatian, French, Greek, Portuguese, Slovenian, Spanish, Lithuanian).
The next steps include the pilot testing of the platform and workshops for coaches and trainers are about to be organised in all countries. Info-days/multiplier events will also take place during these last months of the project, that will come to an end this December after almost three years of fruitful cooperation, despite the difficulties of the COVID-19 pandemic, among partners from Slovenia, Croatia, Greece, Portugal, Spain, Luxembourg and Lithuania.
The last transnational project meeting of the project will be organized in December in Portugal.

AGROECOLOGY: Study Visit in the Philippines
BSU hosted the Study Visit in the Philippines for the Erasmus+ project “AGROECOLOGY” between 4 and 8 of September 2022.
This was a fruitful week for all partners, because the training process took place at BSU for the Curriculum Development in Agroecology.
The CDAE project increases the capacity of the academic staff of Partner HEIS, improves the level of competencies and skills through the development of a VET Programme customized to their needs and needs of the 21st century and through the organisation of a replication training for the conceptualization of agroecology. The developed VET programmes upgrade academics’ teaching skills and providing the appropriate environment helping them play their roles effectively.

Despite the fact that Luxembourg constitutes one of the smallest countries worldwide consisting of 660,809 residents, plenty of multinational companies, large enterprises and SMEs, as well as start-up businesses tend to choose the Grand Duchy as their basis, triggering thus the state’s actors to further reinforce entrepreneurship initiatives and to focus on businesses’ sustainability.
One of the state’s initiatives relating to the development of enterprises is called “Luxembourg-City Incubator (LCI”). This initiative was launched in 2017 and was sponsored by the City of Luxembourg with the aim to give the opportunity to companies and early-stage start-ups to use the coaching and support programme offered by the LCI in order to foster innovation for their enterprises and to strengthen their entrepreneurial potentials.
Embracing contemporary and thriving sectors, such as the environment, urban tech, construction and real estate, tourism, retail, and logistics, LCI intends to align companies with the current labour market needs in Luxembourg, to accelerate their growth and to expand their network in order for them to guarantee more business opportunities. In this context, more than 150 start-ups took advantage of the coaching and support programme and used them as a springboard to thrive in a competitive entrepreneurial environment. To this extent, NOVEL Group contributes to this business incubator system by developing business strategies and undertaking the entire process of companies’ development.

The 1st study visit of the project took place at Ioannina, Greece in February 2020, alongside with the Kick-off meeting. The project partners that attended the study visit had the opportunity to meet the Dean of University of Ioannina and exchange views, while skype contact with a member of the European Parliament gave them the opportunity to talk about the Green Deal-Pillars (economics and investment on education) EU project and explore possibilities for synergies with the 21 TS project. An educational visit to the 1st Model Experimental School of Ioannina took place, where participants took place in Maths and Science Education sessions.
