01 Feb SDGs Journalism Reporting: The project’s 2nd meeting & study visit was held in Battambang, hosted by the “National University of Battambang” from the 5th to the 10th of December

The main objectives of the SDGs journalism training course are to equip students and journalists with the knowledge and skills in journalism reporting, in order to improve education quality, increase public welfare, protect the environment, reduce poverty, and address development issues in accordance with Cambodian government policies.

The meeting’s goals were:

• To examine the developing journalism training programs,
• To monitor the general course of the SDGs journalism reporting project, and
• To disseminate training materials to students and journalists so they are involved in the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.

50 national and international representatives attended the meeting, including six Asian and three European university partners, as well as representatives from the Battambang Provincial Department of Information.
