This Erasmus+ initiative aims to mitigate the environmental impact of apparel production by introducing tailor-made vocational education and training modules. VETRINE not only raises awareness about the adverse environmental footprint of the fashion industry but also incorporates learning modules that encompass the entire production cycle. This holistic approach includes considerations for material choices, design and sewing, energy consumption, distribution, and post-consumer habits like repair and recycling.

NOVEL’s role in VETRINE is to lead towards a new era of exploitation of available ICT resources. To be able to launch an information environment regarding methods & techniques related to green apparel production (QR-code & FashPass application)

Our primary goal is to

• To serve as a product dictionary for apparel products developed during or after project’s lifespan
• To share & disseminate green practices into the apparel sector across Europe aiming to the exchange of skills
• To improve skills intelligence & information mechanisms by creating networks & partnerships.

We are pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the 5^th Project Meeting and Networking Event, which transpired on the 25^th and 26^th of November in Jaipur India, graciously hosted by Banasthali University. This two-day event included both online and face-to-face meetings serving as a platform not only for project discussions but also for the convening of an international conference and networking event.

Attended by project partners and university leaders, the event not only facilitated robust discussions on project closure but also served as a crucial forum for disseminating the project’s outcomes. Throughout the event, participants actively engaged in exploring and disseminating the project’s results, underscoring the successful implementation of educational programs in recent months. The inclusion of technical sessions alongside networking activities enriched the overall experience, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange.

Starting on Sunday, October 1^st, the 4^th Study Visit has marked a significant milestone in our project, hosted with excellence by Southwest University (SWU) in Chongqing, China. Over the course of five impactful days, project partners and university leaders engaged in focused project meetings, dedicating their efforts to training programs and workshops aimed at advancing the concept of 21st Century Skills.

A noteworthy highlight of this visit was the live training sessions conducted for teachers as part of the Capacity Building Programme. These sessions were designed to prepare educators for effectively teaching and delivering the educational programs integral to the project’s objectives. In addition to the educational components, the study visit provided a platform for robust networking and discussions around Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and the overall project status. These conversations played a pivotal role in refining strategies to ensure alignment with project goals. Cultural activities were also integrated into the program, offering participants opportunities to foster deeper bonds and enhance cross-cultural understanding.
